DJ HowLy has been perfecting his craft for over 15 years. With humble beginnings that started in a local Anaheim high school as the student body's "Music Coordinator," DJ HowLy realized that he really enjoyed connecting with people through music. This sparked a hobby, that turned into a way to pay for college, that evolved into a dream career. Near the end of 2011 HowLy graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Business from California State of Long Beach.
Coming at you from Los Angeles, California this is one DJ that is dedicated to his craft. DJ Raul has been rockin' the turntables way before Serato was around. With his vast array of mixing styles and music selections from Hip-Hop, R&B, Top 40, EDM & more. There is no genre of music that is safe from DJ Raul's needles. Adding to his arsenal, he can also incorporate live video music mixing bringing his sets to life visually.
Through out his career, HowLy has traveled around the United States performing at the simplest most exclusive high profile Party's to the most magnificent concert events and festivals "HowLy-fying" the masses. He currently holds DJ residencies with companies like Universal, ATT, Warner Brothers, and iHeart Radio.
In 2012, HowLy was picked up as one of the featured event DJ's for three of LA's number one radio stations: Alt987, 102.7KIISFM, and 104.3MYFM. He has had the oppurtunity to perform before and even shared the stage with some of pop cultures biggest icons such as, Ryan Seacrest, Bruno Mars, LMFAO, Lil Jon, Pitbull, Steve Aoki, Ed Sheeran, Mario Lopez, and Good Charlotte,... just to name a few.
Staying true to the art of spinning is one of HowLy's chief philosophies. HowLy spins for one individual purpose - the purpose to make people move to his sounds. He tends to vibe on the audience's energy, continuously feeding their eardrums to a climax bursting with hit after hit. DJ HowLy's mixing style is reminiscent of an old school turntablist with a blend of cutting edge new school material. From rock and hip hop music across the generations to the pop and electronic music of the millennium, this young DJ puts it together as one energy-packed seamless mashup.
Raul's unique sound and diverse style has led him to DJ numerous guest appearances and residencies in some of L.A.'s, Hollywood and the California area exclusive night clubs and for mainstream artists. With over 15 years as a veteran DJ in the club scene in the U.S. and Internationally along with events, live shows and private parties. Raul is undoubtedly the individual that will get any dance floor pumped up with his energy behind the turntables. Falling nowhere short of expectations and overwhelming audiences all over, DJ Raul will stop at nothing to Rock the House!
